3rd Annual Ornament Exchange

Nathan and Amanda hosted this years Ornament Exchange. As usual everyone did great and we all have some special new ornaments for our tree. We each pick a scripture or something gospel related that was important to our family during the last year and make or buy an ornament to reflect it.

1. Dad and Mom- (Dad made these all by himself this year. Way to go Dad) Psalm 24:3-4 Clean hands and a pure heart.

2. Kimball and Tiffin - President Monson's "The 3 R's of Choice"

3. Rob and Heidi - Doctrine and Covenants 136:28 Praise the Lord with singing and dancing.

4. Nathan and Amanda - Family Home Evening

5. Michael and Allison - Jonah 1-3 The story of Jonah and the Whale.

6. Scott and Katie - Hymn #260 Choose to be on the Lord's team. Scott got a good laugh from this one. Rumor has it that he picked this particular ornament just so that Ben would have to hang an ASU ornament on his tree.

7. Ben and Janelle - Mosiah 2:7 The story of King Benjamin's tower.

8. Patrick and Kelli - "My Heavenly Father Loves Me"

9. Mike and Kristi - Isaiah 33:2 we have "waited" for thee and the "power of His arm"

Good job everyone. I always look forward to this night. It's fun to see what everyone comes up with. It's also sweet to listen to my family members as they explain their ornament and know that they know they have a Heavenly Father who loves them. I hope it's a tradition we carry on for many more years.
