The kids sampled the pies and judged them based on appearance, crust, filling, and flavor.

We played kickball - Indians (boys) versus Pilgrims (girls). So fun...until Uncle Jay turned the sprinklers on while the girls were in the outfield. Oh Uncle Jay, we will get you back one day!

The Dad's had a pie eating contest. Kimball won! He has been careful about what he has been eating lately because of a "biggest loser" contest he is in. This was his first sweet in a while. He downed the pie in one bite! 
...and then licked the plate clean! HA HA!

Wait--new tradition--what is this. We are gone for one month and the whipped cream fight and new traditions without us!!! That is not fair. We want to be in on all the fun.
